Outdoor Education Rates 2008-09

Overview

We know school budgets are tight and the rising price of fuel makes transportation expensive, so we have kept our rates the same for the last 3 school years.  Prices include: Meals, snacks, lodging, instruction, activities, equipment/entrance fees, AND field trip transportation. Teachers are free at a 1:30 ratio, parent chaperones are half price at 1:9 ratio. 

 

Five Day = $320/student

Four nights, eleven meals, eleven classes, including transportation and entrance/equipment fees for TWO offsite trip of your choice:  kayaking adventure to study marine science on the water in Morro Bay or elephant seal observation/sandy marine studies in San Simeon (or other custom trips, geology of Big Sur with hikes in the redwood forest or to spectacular waterfalls . . .)

 

Four Day = $250/student

Three nights, eight meals, nine classes, ONE adventure trip: kayaking, or elephant seal observation/sandy marine studies, or custom trip.

 

Three Day = $200/student

Two nights, five meals, seven classes, two trips to the tidepools.

  

Camp capacity is 110 people.  Small schools will be booked together.
